good morning

Too much good sleep and I don’t have much time to write.
One child home with strep throat and a wasp sting
Another still snoring needs to be awakened
Husband at the kitchen table working on a paper
The dog is cruising the kitchen for scraps
I’ll begin my day with a cup of coffee
These short reflections, and a prayer
Reminding myself to be of service
Saying thank you for this splendid abundance
And the deep awe that Oregon Spring inspires
